The Shining is back to scare the ever loving crap out of us! If you dare, head to the haunted Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, October, 2018 20 at 8PM to see Stanley Kubrick’s super-creepy depiction of this Stephen King novel.

Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) and his family look after a hotel during its winter off season. Trouble is the hotel talks to Jack and his son, and it’s not a friendly hotel.

Come to the Egyptian to get really, really scared with the rest of us.  Don’t come alone.  Don’t go home alone.  Don’t try to kill your family for no good reason.

Be sure to bring your carved Jack-O-Lantern for a treat. We’ll light it and put it on state through the show (and you can take it home when we’re done)

A man, his son, and wife become the winter caretakers of an isolated hotel where Danny, the son, sees disturbing visions of the hotel’s past using a telepathic gift known as “The Shining”. The father, Jack Torrance, is underway in a writing project when he slowly slips into insanity as a result of cabin fever and former guests of the hotel’s ghosts. After being convinced by a waiter’s ghost to “correct” the family, Jack goes completely insane. The only thing that can save Danny and his mother is “The Shining”. –from IMDB
