Current Movie: The Nightmare Before Christmas – Oct. 12
About This MovieMore
What if Halloween and Christmas had a baby? It might look a little like Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, showing at the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 7PM. .
Just as Halloween would be a bust if Santa were in charge of it for a year, so too would Christmas fall apart if Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King made a go of Christmas.
This one is for all ages, so bring the kiddos downtown for an evening of hybrid holiday cinema!
And bring a carved Jack-O-Lantern for a treat! We’ll light it and put it on stage during the show (you can take it home afterward, too).
Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, is bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween. One day he stumbles into Christmas Town, and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins of Halloween town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween — but alas, they can’t get it quite right.
