What if Halloween and Christmas had a baby?  It might look a little like Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, showing at the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 7PM.

Just as Halloween would be a bust if Santa were in charge of it for a year, so too would Christmas fall apart if Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King made a go of Christmas.

This one is open to all ages and we’ll have beer & wine service, so bring the kiddos downtown for an evening of hybrid holiday cinema for the whole family!

And bring a carved Jack-O-Lantern for a treat! We’ll light it and put it on stage during the show (you can take it home afterward, too).

Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, is bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween. One day he stumbles into Christmas Town, and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins of Halloween town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween — but alas, they can’t get it quite right.

Fine Print:

The Nightmare Before Christmas will show at the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 7:00PM. Tickets bought online are $9. Doors open at 6PM; all seating is open. If tickets remain on the night of the show, they can be purchased at the Egyptian box office for $11. When 150 tickets are purchased, payments will be collected and tickets will be issued for you to print out from this website and bring with you on the night of the screening. No admission without a ticket. If 150 tickets fail to sell, no payments will be collected, no tickets will be issued, and no movie will be screened.
