“If you really love Christmas, come on and let it snow!”

Love Actually continues the merriment at the Shakespeare Festival on Thursday, December 10, 2021 at 7PM! Often called the ultimate date movie, Love Actually has it all. A brilliant ensemble cast, hilarious laughs, irresistible tear-jerking, and plenty of Christmas feels.

It has all kinds of love all over the loving place! Love achieved, love discovered, love discarded, love nearly avoided, love sought overseas, love come too late, love in an unknown tongue, unavailable love, first love, bereaved love, and managerial love. If you’re in need of a love lesson, you’ll find several here.

What better way to watch for Santa’s sleigh than to watch Christmas movies under the stars. We may even get some snow falling on us, who knows!

So bundle up. Break out the ski gear a little early and layer it on. Honestly, I’m going to bring a sleeping bag.

Also, we won’t have concessions, so bring your refreshments with you (you know, Shakespeare Festival style).

We WILL have concessions! Our good friends at Smoke & Thyme are bringing hot soups, hot chocolate, hot cider, and smoked “pig wings.” plus some goodies from City Peanut! You can still bring your own food, though.

Chairs are provided in all sections except the hillside. If you’re going to sit on the grass, bring a blanket or a lawn chair (preferably low-rise).

We’ll have an ugly sweater contest with prizes, so don your worst!

Still not convinced? Have a sneak peek:

As you enter our outdoor amphitheater and habitat reserve, you’ll be embarking upon a theatrical experience like no other! In addition to all the magic, drama on the big screen, the Festival Amphitheater & Reserve is nestled in a unique habitat that is home to an astonishing variety of plant and animal species. The Festival operates under an agreement with the Idaho Foundation for Parks &... Read More.
