What story isn’t made better with Muppets?! And The Muppet Christmas Carol is one of the truer depictions of Dickens’s story put to film. No, really! Give or take a song or two.

What makes the Muppets work for all ages is their use of the straight man, the one sane person who sets a reference point for how off kilter the Muppets really are. And Michael Caine’s depiction of Scrooge is as straight as they come. He absolutely nails the grumpy, selfish, heartless curmudgeon without a wink while the Muppets do their thing round him. It plays perfectly!

The Muppet Christmas Carol will show at the Egyptian Theatre on Thursday, December 8, 2018 at 7:00PM. Tickets bought online are $9 for adults over 12, and $6 for kids 12 and under. Doors open at 6PM; all seating is open. If tickets remain on the night of the show, they can be purchased at the Egyptian box office for $11. When 150 tickets are purchased, payments will be collected and tickets will be issued for you to print out from this website and bring with you on the night of the screening. No admission without a ticket. If 150 tickets fail to sell, no payments will be collected, no tickets will be issued, and no movie will be screened.
