The second in our Saturday Series of Coen Brothers movies, Raising Arizona marks the Brothers’ move into comedy.  Dry, odd, dark, and unexpected, the Coens know how to deliver a punch line!  One among many kidnapping movies, Raising Arizona features the Coens’ first work with Holly Hunter, John Goodman, and Francis McDormand.

Come down to the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, January 12 to have a good laugh and appreciate the early steps of the Coens’ journey from indie masters to Oscar winners.

Fine Print:

Raising Arizona will show at the Egyptian Theatre for one night only on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 7:00PM.  Tickets bought online are $9.  If tickets remain on the night of the show, they can be purchased at the Egyptian box office for $11.  Beer and wine available for moviegoers age 21 years and older.  When 200 tickets are purchased, your tickets will be issued for you to print out from this website and bring with you on the night of the screening.  No admission without a ticket.
