Blood Simple is Joel and Ethan Coen’s first feature length film.  It’s noir to the marrow.  Most folks probably haven’t seen it at all, let alone on the big screen. Those who have seen it will likely be first in line to see it again.  It’s going to be a real treat!

Now, this one is going to be a little tougher to make happen than other movies we’ve shown so far.  Blood Simple is no Princess Bride.  Who DOESN’T want to see the Princes Bride?!!  That one tipped fast and hard.  This one’s going to take some doing.

So, you see those shiny little sharing buttons just above the photo there?  Give one of those a click to get the word out, if you want to see Blood Simple. It’s going to take more than you and I going to this one.  We’re going to have to dig a little deeper to get 200 to Blood Simple, but it’s worth it!

Abby is cheating on her saloonkeeper husband, Marty. The object of her affections is Ray, one of Marty’s bartenders. Marty hires Visser, an unscrupulous detective, to kill them. But Visser has other, more lucrative plans of his own. So begins a calculating round of double and triple crosses that build to a bloodcurdling, surprise-filled climax.
